It has held stakes in the likes of Apple Computers, News Corporation, Fairmont Hotels and Saks Fifth Avenue. His shareholding in the world's biggest bank, Citigroup, is valued at nearly US$10bn. He is also in line to snap up US$200m of apartments in London's West End, and through his business interests, he effectively employs over 30,000 people around the globe.
