Prince Walid is amongst the rarest of the rich who has broken the taboo of buying second hand luxury. Amongst the richest of the world, it is considered unethical to buy someone else's second hand luxury.  The Prince explains “I do not like to buy something that's expensive, Take my boat for example. I had this situation whereby this boat was offered to me at a very inexpensive price at 20 percent of its value. And I wished to have a boat. And I was supposed to build a boat. So I aborted that concept and I just bought that boat.”
